Search Marketing Standard Magazine has finally reached it’s first year with 4 issues released already for this quarterly print magazine. And so far I can say I am pretty much impressed. With all the online resources you have, forums, blogs and podcast, sometimes, something on print may be move convenient to be up-to-date in the world of search marketing. Like having lunch with peers in a location with no Wi-Fi, and no need to bring a laptop where a magazine is way more lighter to bring along. Actually most of my Search Marketing Standard Magazines are read most of the time in the restroom. Now how productive can you get in the restroom? Not that much. But if you read Search Marketing Standard Magazine at the same time, at least you gain more knowledge on restroom time. One nice thing is this magazine is not that expensive. You can get 1 year, 2 year or 3 year subscriptions, and I just got the 3 years since it’s only $35 anyway.
Some of the best articles I like from the past issues were, the one about re-inclusion request on Google, Yahoo and MSN just in case a site gets banned. Managing SEO teams by Rand Fishkin, and the the article on the comparison of Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery. The publishers of this magazine Boris and Eugene Mordkovich are also the authors of the popular PPC Book, Pay-Per-Click Search Engine Marketing Handbook. Definitely if you are in the search marketing arena, this is definitely a magazine you will want to subscribe to.
